Instructions
  1. Prepare your glass: Fill a rocks glass or double old-fashioned glass halfway with crushed ice. Set aside.
  2. Mix the cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, add: Plantation white rum; Kula dark rum; Dry Curaçao; Orgeat; Fresh lime juice; Simple syrup (optional)
  3. Shake: Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds.
  4. Pour: Strain (don’t fine-strain) into the prepared glass filled with crushed ice. Add more crushed ice on top to mound it slightly.
  5. Garnish: Add a mint sprig (slap it lightly between your hands first to release aroma). Place a lime shell or wedge on top. Optional: float a tiny splash of Kula dark rum on top.
  6. Serve Immediately: Enjoy this refreshing, balanced tiki classic - tart, nutty, and rum-forward just like Trader Vic intended.
