- 60 ml (2 oz) Royal Amber Rum
- 25 ml (3/4 oz) freshly squeezed lime juice
- 15 ml (1/2 oz) Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
- 15 ml (1/2 oz) orgeat syrup (almond syrup)
- 10 ml (1/3 oz) bar syrup (simple syrup, 1:1 sugar to water)
- Crushed ice

- Combine ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add Royal Amber Rum, lime juice, Cointreau, orgeat, and bar syrup.
- Shake: Fill the shaker with ice and shake well for about 10 seconds until chilled.
- Serve: Strain into a double old-fashioned glass filled with crushed ice.
- Garnish: Add a mint sprig and lime wheel (or the squeezed lime shell) on top.
- Layered: float a little extra dark or aged rum on top (about 1/2 oz) after pouring.
