Description

Frank’s Orange Chicken Recipe from January 2025

Instructions
  1. Start by cutting the Chicken into 1" cubes or smaller if you like. Once you’ve cubed the Chicken season with salt and pepper, go lightly with the salt because we’re using Soy sauce. In a fry pan that’s on a medium high heat add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, give the oil a minute in to heat and then goes the Chicken. Make sure it goes away from you, so you don’t splatter oil on yourself. Sear for about 4 minutes, turn the Chicken until lightly brown on the other side. Now add the minced Garlic and finish cooking the Chicken.
  2. While that’s happening put together the sauce a mixing bowl, Orange juice, Soy sauce, Corn Starch, the zest of Orange, Brown Sugar, Rice Wine Vinegar and for heat Chili Garlic sauce. You can decide you much heat you want, I’m using two tablespoons.
  3. Whisk together so that everything is incorporated well, then pour it over the Chicken, the sauce will thicken up very fast so be ready to take it off the heat.
